| Ahhhh, okay, that makes sense. Thank you, Master Tiphereth, for the lesson in 'psy scramblers'. LOL Seriously, though, thank you for explaining things. | |

| LOL. I just don't want anyone thinking I am some crazy old coot who goes off all half cocked. There is always a method to my madness and the common denominator is balance. | |

| And your right. Good must balance evil and vice versa. It is the way of nature and the universe. Even the cyber universe. | |

| Aye, and speaking of balance, just wait until Henkel learns about Birkshire's methods. The FBI agent will not approve one bit of employing a psychotic meta-human or using a girl as bait. | |

| Having Sigma locate John sounds fine to me, I figured something would break after the heroes and RAID and Frank settle up, I wasn't trying to rush anyone. The story is a juicy one... | |

| Hmmmm, so who is going to get to Morgan first? Tim or Henkel? LOL Or, does Henkel even know anything yet?
And, SubBear, you're not rushing, hon. Rescuing John will be a juicy story as well. He took a shining to Morgan because of Tim and Morgan is fond of the big lug. He's like the type of father she wished she'd had.

| You'll have to forgive me, I'm not completely caught up yet on the new chapters. I'm reading as fast as I can...a lot has happened in these stories since I was around last. | |

| I will just totally follow your lead, SubBear. I'll write that Sigma learns of his location but I won't be specific, that way you can dictate the story and after Frank is dealt with the heroes can have a little breather (hopefully) then go after McMannus. Yeah, I know the chapters have gotten rather extensive, eh? You'll notice that I have tried to really add some depth to the RAID and the FBI characters. They're a lot of fun to portray. I actually have another RAID agent in mind that I'll add in the future. There is no rush with anything. Just do your thang and have fun. Just to throw this out there, but Wraith is pretty a much a medical doctor as well as a geneticist. He'll be able to do uncomplicated surgeries in the medical lab of the facility so the resistance has a medic at their disposal, when he isn't working, of course. He'll be getting a day job to pay the bills so his activities will be restricted to the evening. (The guy won't be able to live very long on his savings.) Oh, and people are writing an upstairs and downstairs in the underground base. I made the diagram one level (it's located in the maps and diagram section). I can remake it if people would like multiple levels, I kind of like the idea myself, just that I don't think there would be an upstairs, probably just levels going deeper. | |

| I was thinking Tiphereth, if we don't want to lose Frank as the 'Hunter'. His face is pretty mutilated by the rats and if he's rescued by RAID before Morgan regains consciousness, then he can undergo plastic surgery and noone would know it was him except for RAID. What do you think? | |

| Well, we'll have to see how things unfold. Our characters are at a cross road now.
Tim Rutherford's character is a hero. The hero usually kills the bad guy in the story and Frank has become his personal villain as he is the defender of Morgan. We have to respect that character and cannot ask that he behave anything less than how Lac has portrayed him.
This is the conundrum of writing 'villains'. Villains are bad guys and they must lose and at times die. We have to be careful when we allow our villains to cross the line, because once they do it is very difficult to bring them back, especially when they become entwined with the character of another writer. It's like painting yourself in a corner, it always happens when your not paying attention, and in my opinion Frank is dangerously close to the point of no return. Personally, I feel that his demise is immanent, but that is not my decision nor anyone else's but the creator of the character.
Birkshire may want to salvage 'Hunter' for his own personal use, but I have to see how the story progresses to truly know whether the existing plot line the way it is forming would support that change. As I have said before, I tend to look at the story as a whole when dealing with minor characters like Birkshire. He's not a major character so his role is dictated by the story and all the major characters.

| Okay, that makes perfect sense. Thank you again, for your words of wisdom. LOL You look at the whole story while I still tend to have tunnel vision. Something I apparantly need to work on. | |

| Thanks for the compliment but I too have my moments where I forget to take the blinders off. Frank has reached a that point, where in a good story, the character is vanquished in a heroic fashion or they undergo a significant transformation. In Frank's case he could realize that he is in fact not a vassal for angels but rather just a meta-human no different than his daughter. This would natural generate a psychotic break and Frank would either become an ultra violent killer who will eventually be killed by a hero or he would seek retribution and forgiveness by attempting to change. These are just two examples off the top of my head, there are probably several more. Whatever happens, the bottom line is that you have generated a climax with Frank that is dictating the majority of the story right now and so this demands something climatic to happen, that not only just effects Morgan, but also Tim Rutherford and the other supporting characters as well. This is one of the reasons I tossed in RAID. With the rise in heroes I felt that we needed a bit more of a punch to Morgan's rescue so that everyone could squeeze in some heroics. | |

| Okay, cool. The more I've thought about it, the more I'm inclined to have Frank come to an end. LOL | |

| Take your time Bear, you are right there has been a lot of action since the warehouse in NYC. I agree Tiph once a villian crosses the line he has pretty much sealed his own fate. I left it to Sin to determine if Tim inflicted fatal injurues on Frank. But in my opinion Frank has stepped way over the line. | |

| That was a nice dramatic end for Frank... i am hoping he might have few seconds more of fight in him... but that's up to Sin.
I probably won't post 'til this evening, but don't worry about me. RAID would most likely send a couple of cars after Totem. Anyone can take the wheel if they want. Totem drives like a country boy so it's debatable whether he'll handle the hummer alright or not.

| Well if Yelena is in the vehicle and nobody else takes the wheel maybe she will drive and Totem and /or whoever, slips down another manhole to double back and help Tim. ........ Just an idea. | |

| I hope I didn't mess up your upcoming post, Lac, if I did, tell me and I'll make the corrections. And, the small explosives, how soon do they detonate once the penetrate? Did I mess up there with Frank, having his insanity give him the extra adrenalin to help him live a few more minutes? | |

| No, not at all, the small explosive would detonate instanly just enough to fragment the shotgun slug. .... Figured on waiting to post to give some one a chance to rescue both of us. If they don't by tomorrow morning I have a plan for getting us out. | |
