I was hoping that Tim's group might have linked up prior to the fray, but I figure it's still only about 11:00 pm for Yelena's group and Tim is already well into the AM of the next day (another reason I thought I'd make RAID a little more difficult to elude). I'm not sure what else we could do to eat up some more time, so if you guys have any ideas just go for it.

Shinigami can attack at any time and if his appearance is interrupted then so be it. Anything can happen, just take it where you want it to go.

Okay, what happened is that Yelena, Toril and Cassius' time line encountered some lag, while Tim's group jumped ahead to the AM. So what I propose is that we say, Yelena's group is actually a day behind. This means that Tim's group has an entire day and evening to drive up to Oneida Lake, find the base and track down Yelena, Cassius and Toril.

How does that sound?

I have given Lac, a good description of where MCB Oneida is, and he should be able to write his way there. To make it a little easier though I pop a map in the Maps and Diagrams topic so people won't get confused.

Sounds good to me, I am going to then put Zoe on Tim's timeline since she is only in contact with them right now

Right now for Yelena's group I figure it would be around 10:30 pm. I will make sure I add time stamps with the posts.

I figured Zoe could be coming up on that information about when Toril, Cassius, and Yelena were getting into the elevator shaft. Hope I didn't mess up the timeline too bad... if I did though just let me know and I'll post it again later

Nah, that's just fine, everything will smooth out. Don't let my compulsive-obsessive nature get to you. As long as we stay with the same day, or there abouts it's all good.

In regards to RAID...

I am just trying to build them up as most meta-human's would perceive them. They are the 'mutant-hunters', an organization solely designed to dispatch dangerous meta-humans, some as powerful as such comic book characters as Superman, Wolverine, etc...

They are not always successful against such powerful meta-humans but they do have the power to offer an adequate fight. The mere word of 'RAID' being uttered should send chills down most meta-human's spines. They would be equal to the 'Gustapo' during the Nazi regime for meta-humans.

I understand not to make RAID seem un-beatable, but they have to be portrayed as the powerful and frightening organization that they are. While the FBI can be written lightly as bumblers from time to time, RAID is calculating and cold.

Hope I didn't take too many liberties with your characters, Kasai and Tiph. Let me know if I did and I'll modify the post.

Ah, no way. That was great. Sometimes for the sake of expediency and creativity you have to take liberties with all the characters. Any minor inaccuracies are really subjective, anyway, aren't they? Well done. Oh, what's that I hear... did I hear the sound of silk garments on the wind? Perhaps the flash of a white costume?

Hopefully you approve of Frank working with RAID. I know you had alluded it to it earlier, but at that point I felt the partnership would not have been believable. Birkshire's back is up against the wall now, so the employment of a meta-human to display the unscrupulous ways of RAID seemed appropriate.

In your posts there is no real need for you write a lot of dialogue with RAID unless you want to. All you really have to do is write that 'Frank makes a quick call to Birkshire to check in' and be done with it. What ever suits your comfort level.

Frank is all yours again, Sin. He has a credit card, a nice black Suburban and a gun. He's set to go.

In my opinion... since Frank is going the way of the 'demon-hunter', he would want to try and exorcise the evil out of Morgan through torture. Should he ever get her I believe that what could happen is this:

Frank has 'mental domination' and with this power he could, impose his will subconsciously on Morgan and actually make, the name Cassie blister onto her flesh which would become a permanent scar and reminder of her deed. This would be done completely unconsciously by Frank's power, so he wouldn't have a clue that he caused it, to him it would appear that his torture/'exorcising' and the angels would be branding her with the evil deed she had committed.

That's just a little idea of mine to go along with Frank's mania. You know, as his character matures, he has great potential to be a pretty cool 'super-villain'. Something along the lines of a Van Helsing type character who instead of hunting Vampires and such, hunts Meta-humans... Frank would have to go a whole lot crazier before that happens though. LOL.

Franks a kook who needs a looney bin in the most serious of ways.

With Frank I just think that because he despises meta-humans, that he would be in total denial that he is one. That's why the use of his powers has to be unconscious or believed to be divine intervention. Otherwise he would have a psychotic break and his reality would crumble.

Glad you like that idea. My line of thinking is that it would be psycho-somatic, by unconsciously projecting his will on Morgan, he would cause her skin to blister and scar into the shape of the name that is in a sense burned into his own mind. I got the idea from documented cases of people being possessed by demons and experiencing words blistering on their skin. From a scientific stand point, this could be psycho-somatic, the power of ones mind causing the damage to themselves. Franks mental domination could tap into that, and force a person's mind to produce the same effect.

RPM, I was figuring we could have a little dialogue in the trailer before character's pass out from exhaustion. We could probably have them sleep until at least 10:00 or 11:00 since it's currently around 1:00 or 2:00 in the morning for them. They'd need the rest after what they've been through. After that they'll be pretty close to being on the same time line as Tim. (i figured that was your plan all along but it's also a very believable time for a break )

Then we will hold until you guys post then we can pick it up on Vermont 17 just west of Bristol. That is where we should be able to pick up The Shadow. Sound about right?

You can have all the dialogue you would like until you reach the northern shoreline of Lake Oneida in New York. That's where Yelena, Toril and Cassius are in Bernhards Bay (If you Google it you'll find it on the map, it's an actual place. You can also see it on the maps I posted in the Maps and Diagrams topic).

Just write normally and make sure you let us know the time that Tim reaches Lake Oneida or around there. We're just going to move the characters in a believable manner, as they try and make their way back to Troy. They don't know Tim is coming for them so naturally they are going to go it alone, but Yelena may attempt to contact Zoe somehow if the opportunity arises. That will most likely be our connection.

The base they were being kept at his North of Lake Oneida so Tim would probably be headed in that direction.

YOu were reading my mind, Tiph. Rest and dialogue indeed. For all the reasons you pointed out.

Question: Does RAID use vehicles that people can tell immediately are RAID? (Like police cars, etc.) or are they unmarked and look just like any other cars?
