The only connection our Silvanost has with the Silvanost in the books is the name, in the books it had been taken over by a green dragon and was a twisted grove of trees shaped by a nightmare that was becoming reality, so as I said, we are making up Silvanost as we go

I don't know if this will help or not, but imagine a city of large trees and among the tops of the trees, the elves have homes. the trees are connected by a series of intricately carved walkways. The same with spiral like stairs that take you from the ground to the tops of the trees but none of it looks as though it was 'made'. it looks like a natural part of the landscape. The trees are the homes of the Elves and through maigc, the trees are manipulated to make the trunks hollow where the elves homes are so rooms can be made out of the tree.

Gardens of colorful flowers are everywhere and some clear pools form naturally making small, quiet sanctuaries for people to go and find a quiet, peaceful moment when needed.

Just try to imagine a large forest of very large trees with flower gardens everywhere.

The palace in the center of the city and it's unlike anything that can be described. But Elves are known for the detail they put in what ever it is they build and they use natural elements to do it.
