| Oh, that's terrible! I tell ya, I'm pretty leery about typing a post on line without being able to save. Haven't done that in a while. It's tough though if you're not able to type in another program and save your file. Well, I hope you realize now that I'll be expecting you're next post to be perfect since this will be the second go round. | |

| AWESOME! I was hoping you'd end at a stalemate. Don't worry about the Highwayman, he's always on time, unfortunately Grey's going to have a little more work to do before he can do his part. So, now not only is Grey going to have to contend with RAID Enforcers, but he and Scavenger will also have to deal with two crime fighters. Of course its not like RAID is greet Wraith and Sigma with a big sloppy kiss. They'll be trying to gun them down as well. I'll telegraph the movements of Wraith and Sigma very well so you don't get cornered and if we end up in face to face don't hesitate to take them out if whatever I've written exposes them a lethal attack by Grey. I always like to keep things believable and if someone writes a character sticking their neck out... well naturally a bad guy is going to stay true to their nature and chop at it. Super Heroes and Villains always appear to die and somehow survive... that's what I find so appealing about comic-book style stories. You can write great battles and even a death scenes but nothing's final. How many times have characters like Wolverine, Superman or Batman died and miraculously come back? Stick to your guns Kasai and we'll see where we end up! This is going to be fun! | |

| I tried to set up a nice little 'playground' for Grey and account for all the characters (except Sigma right now, but he's around). Thought I'd also toss a little monkey wrench in there with the technicians being able to repair Grey's 'glitch', just to build things up. They won't be able to fix the core again, and now Grey's in a pretty harry situation. | |

| Ok, I played into Grey's weakness a little bit but I feel like I'm not quite giving RAID the credit its due. I figure Grey's running on a lot of adrenaline right now so if you guys wanna take over for RAID and give him a few more little bumps and bruises, go for it. | |

| Do Super Hero's ever really die? Stay tuned to find out. Nah, he's not dead, just had to be realistic. Gun battle's are kind of black and white... sometimes you just have to just bite the bullet... literally. When a crack shot shoots at someone, they're pretty much gonna hit their mark 80% of the time and by my calculations, Grey was due for a hit at that point. | |

| YES... very nice! Swoopin' in like that! We shall now proceed with the 'EVIL DEATH RAY'.... muhahahaha... Yes, I do believe the 'bad guys' are going to win this round. Apex Fusion's scheme is about to become reality and all of Chicago will suffer. .... but there's hope for a price.... | |

| Mmkay... just so I can make this realistic... anyone have any idea what Mr. Pyre's record would LOOK like (e.g. format, info, etc.)? I have a lot of background info on him, but I really have no clue what Zoe would be able to dig up and how it would be written out. Obviously, if no one else has any idea, it doesn't matter and I'll make something up! | |

| Honestly I really don't believe the 'format' matters. We are more concerned with what the information will reveal.
I think the best way we can go about this right now is for you to relinquish whatever information is pertinent to the situation at hand. As the story evolves, more can come into play, but for now we should just keep it simple. Tiny tastes, so that we might savor the character, rather than gulp him down, eh?
How does that sound? | |

| Sounds good to me... mildly inappropriate at parts but I'll take one for the team and be the one with the sense of humor of a 12 year-old boy | |

| Hopefully that post didn't put ya to sleep. Just trying to define the setting a bit better. So, Umbra's plan. It was stated in some of my earlier posts, basically Apex is the head of Umbra, and the gang of meta's he gathered would be members. The antidote is addictive... but if you have any other cool ideas, just throw them in. Apex Fusion's ultimate goal is just to have control over the city. Dependence on a drug yield's control, especially when you're the only supplier, but feel free to elaborate on this idea. Perhaps you might want to try and entwine Greyson Pyre a little more into the story somehow... its up to you. | |

| Not quite sure how I want to weave Grey in just yet, but if Wraith goes to meet him, he will probably see the signs of Vicodin withdrawal pretty clearly | |

| Thanks for the info. I opted to take Wraith in another direction. Thought I would loop around right now considering you're going to be away for a while. What I am alluding to is that this whole UMBRA thing might be more than it seems. Lately, in this story line, people are beginning to sympathize with meta's. The tables are starting to turn, and R.A.I.D. which is now one of the most powerful organizations world wide is starting to feel the pinch. So how do you instill fear in the public while at the same time beefing up your opponents to perpetuate you need? Well, that's basically happening right now. Dun dun daaaaa! That's sort of what I was thinking. I love conspiracies. I believe if we go along with some part of R.A.I.D. conspiring with UMBRA, it opens up the story to those characters that have so far been on the outside of the situation. Who knows how deep the hole goes eh? | |

| Also wouldn't that just PISS Grey off to learn that he's been a puppet of R.A.I.D. all along? | |

| You GOTTA HAVE a rogue meta around! Like his power, Grey is definitely a glitch in the story... but rather good one. As things go along he'll definitely have a chance to stir things up again! But who will benefit from his actions... stay tuned! | |

| Honestly, my only issue right now is what do I do with him? xD If Zoe had her way, she would just shoot him and dump him off somewhere but as an RPer I really don't wanna kill my twitchy little assassin I will just have to gnaw on things a while | |

| Aye... there's the rub, eh? Criminal character's in this setting which is dominated by a 'hero' theme have to eventually lose, but just how bad is up to you. As cold as some of our crime-fighters are, they all still adhere to moral code. Even, Sigma would debate the justification of killing a criminal suffering from a medical condition that might have shaped his behavior.
Jail, of course, is still a final destination. A R.A.I.D. detention centre would have a jail specifically tailored for him, so that's not an attractive option either.
What I kind of foresee, is Seizure using her talents to extract some information that would force, Grey to work with the heroes. I have no idea what would do this, but the scenario itself is just a way to get the character out and about again. Once in motion, you can be spontaneous whenever you choose and Grey can either adhere to the plan or go and do his own thing. | |

| That's honestly kind of the path I was traveling down.. though mind-reading, as I've hinted at, has some . . . side effects . . . for Seizure | |
