Ooooooo... I like the dog! That one has some cool potential for an NPC character! The Marine, not the dog. Although rest assured the dog would be in there. Maybe Vacily will have a pet bull dog. That would be nice and quirky.

I thi Vacily with a bull dog mascot would be perfect much like Patton's Pit Bull Terrier

Awesome posts, everyone! I enjoyed reading all of the activity that's gone on this week. I am not sure where to put Shawn though. Someone mentioned seeing him in the room and his not waking up when they entered. As I was reading, I was thinking he would feel the vibrations of the fighting going on, wake up, and maybe be able to help but I didn't get back fast enough It seems like if someone had seen him though, especially since by now he should have some pretty nasty looking bruises on his face from his fight with the RAID soldiers at the hospital, they would do one of two things. They would either assume he is with them and take him in with the others, or they could assume he is some kind of kidnapping victim that they beat up and try to "rescue" him. It makes fine sense that he would stay unconscious through it, and no one has any reason to know he is deaf-blind, but what do you think would be most likely to happen? I honestly can't decide...

I am pretty sure that Vacily would have realized that Shawn is with the group. They would have access to the hospital cameras and would have knowledge of his tangling with RAID.

There was one Marine in the room with him. Here are the options as I see it.

1. Shawn remained unconscious and is now in a cell (after some medical attention of course) beside the others.

2. Shawn woke up, and managed to escape by beating the Marine up and sneaking away.

3. Shawn would have been in a separate humvee from the others so he could have awoken then and somehow escaped.

4. Shawn could actually still be in the hospital of the military base. He would be strapped down of course for security purposes, but perhaps he could free himself and escape from there or something.

Ah... I forgot about cameras... seeing as his injuries weren't that serious and there is likely video of him killing and maiming RAID agents, I'm thinking option #1 is the most likely

So we are all on the same time line right now. (Well just about) For everyone it is morning, or soon will be, so the other characters have caught up with Grey Pyre. Scavenger will sleep the day away as usual so he won't get back to Pyre until night fall.

That's cool, I was just going to let Scavenger get back to Grey and go from there.

So, now that Vacily has Cassius in his clutches he will be very, very, very reluctant to let him go, and right now he would be locked in a cell designed to contain meta-humans. Once Vacily and Yelena exchange some dialog his master plan will be revealed, but anything can happen I guess.

Just so you know so that you can role play it well and realize that Vacily has big plans for Cassius.

Awesome, I'm excited! I am going to hold off on posting what Cassius is doing until then. Feel free to post some details though about where he is and what happens to him along the way

There Kasai, I left Cassius going through a 'Nic-Fit'. Maybe someone will be kind enough though to give him a couple of smokes a little later on, y'know, for good behaviour.

Lac, when you get to the Bronx, I'll try and throw some 'gang-land' your way, and give Tim and his new 'shotgun' a bit of a challenge. I'll go from that perspective you mentioned where one of the guys will recognize him since he sent a brother to the pen, and some of their 'dawgs' to the morgue. So they'll be out for some payback.

Well, it also looks like Tim has an assassin gunnin' for him. Whew! Good thing Tim has some back-up with him, he's going to need it. Also Henkel and Jameson really aren't that far behind, chances they are at the most a two hour drive away from anything that might sound like the work of the Wrangler.

It's going to get intense! Hee Haw!

Interesting plot twist for a shape-shifter? It's always kind of interesting when the heroes are pitted against each other. Isn't Vacily a bastard?

Absolutely! I like it when the villains and heroes interact without violence, playing mind games.

Cassius will be out cold for a while. Kasai can determine how long (sorry for incapacitating your character by the way, it just sort happened... I swear Vacily had control of me! He's evil!)

I'll eventually put up a little write-up for Sara-Lynn (Sun Storm). She's a Beacon operative, obviously working for the United States Military and it's pretty apparent what her powers are.

Mind games are much more fun to play and it makes one use their mind (d'uh) more than sheer brutality and physical strength.

Let's go for it.

No prob on incapacitating Cassius I think I did far worse to Shawn anyway
