| MUHAHAHAHAHA! Sorry, I just couldn't let Tim get off that easy. By the end of this that poor guy is going to be nervous just crossing the street. This pursuit is more or less just a 'wake up' call, letting Tim know that RAID is after him. I am trying to figure out an alternate story line, so that the characters are not simply running for their lives all the time. I mean, people can run forever, it's the other everyday stuff and day to day events in life that trip them up. So we require a crises or a situation that would make the characters risk capture, or something like that. Grey is also after Tim, so that may be something to really build on, and with all this excitement I am thinking that Toril, Cassius and Yelena can't rely on a rescue. They'll have to get themselves out the base. After that it's up to Cassius to get them to Eagle Mills, since Toril doesn't know the way. (It was never mentioned but the tracking device on him has been removed, and besides that, Zoe's defenses around the Safe House would have nullified it long before he got close. | |

| No problem I acyually did not think Tim and Morgan would get away scott free. They are resourcefull, and even the arrogant R.A.I.D. has to deal with real life issues. | |

| RAID is using satellite tracking so Tim should eventually be able to evade them once he catches on that they are following him. Their usual method would be to await their target to stop, wait for someone to exit the vehicle, surround then close in. Feel free to stage what you want. I had them pursue Tim to lead them away from Troy. This way they are not a threat to the safe house anymore. The FBI are, however, a little more intelligent. They have Frank now, but after their little interrogation, opportunities will arise for his escape. There was just no way he could have escaped in the alley with two well trained agents having their weapons drawn on him, at least not in a direct confrontation and without a super-power to even the odds. It was very believable that Frank attempted to reason with the FBI, to try and make the understand his insane cause. That was cool. | |

| Yes that played well, and very believable. I agree it would have been next to imposible for Frank to escape out of the alley, without an incredible amout of luck, the destruction of an FBI vehicle and extreme damage to his own vehicle as well. You guys did great. | |

| Just so you're aware Sin, I was thinking that after Henkel and Jameson question Frank, he'll be handled by the 'local-yocals' for a while so he will have the opportunity to escape. The FBI interrogation is important because it will help their investigation plus it should make Frank aware that the guy that his daughter is with is the 'Wrangler'. | |

| Thanks Sin, I'll set up the post and the you'll be able to carry on with Frank as per usual. I was thinking of trying to let him walk away from prison scott free but there is just too much hard evidence against him, so unfortunately he'll be a fugitive now. Don't worry about it Kasai. I actually liked it... a brief interlude. I'll just write away and try and get Toril and the group out of there. We'll see if they can get out without any help, but stepping out of the situation and looking in it does look pretty dire. You have one big soldier carrying another, and the third one has been beaten severely... a little conspicuous to say the least. | |

| With Zoe's help, and the fact the hummer has secure radios, perhaps Morgan and Tim can still help with a rescue. Was thinking that Tim and Morgan could be headed into the mountains of Vedrmont. Possibly to a fishing cabin that Tim's Grandfather owned and was left to Tim's sister. A sister he has purposefull distanced himself from for her protection. She is a non meta. She would know of Tim's abilities andwhy he has distanced himself from her since the Riggs act. Zoe could contact Tim via a secure link and let him know about the facility Yelena, Cassius and Toril are held.

| It's true that Toril, Cassius, and Yelena are pretty conspicuous... but Cassius is a good shot, even with a couple of black eyes and a nice, sexy swollen face I figured they wouldn't get out quietly but they can still get out loudly and with lots of things getting broken (some of them people). I know I talked a little bit about this in our PM, Lac, but I figure I'll mention it here too. Zoe can easily guide them via the radio at the very least. She regularly hacks into the FBI, the police in the area, and RAID. Lately, it's going to be Beacon as well. We can say she's worked with the detention center before-- successful for not-- and maybe still has maps or blueprints, etc. She could maybe even hack into the cameras or at least possess them through the computers, etc. Cyberkinesis is a strangely versitile power so I can really use Zoe to help in a lot of different ways. | |

| Sounds good to me and I am sure we can get Sean's aka: The Shadow's help as well. After all "Who knows what evil lurks in a man's soul. ......... THE SHADOW knows." | |

| That all sounds really good. Zoe would definitely have to coordinate everything, and like I said before, Colonel Petrovsky's base is obscure, but anyone with a enough searching can find information on it through the web. The trick is finding a schematic, which Zoe would be able to do. With her guidance, Toril, Cassius and Yelena just might be able to make it off the base. Note: Toril's wrists still have the metal bracelets on them and for that matter the military uniform he has on might have metal as well. As long as any metal (which is magnetic) is within a few centimeters of his body he can't dematerialize into his wind form.I don't know if Tim and Morgan could get to the base in time... even with Tim warping the continuum. I think they are pretty much on their own and Yelena will probably be out for at least an hour and I am estimating that they have about fifteen to twenty minutes to get outta dodge before all hell breaks loose. What they will need though is a pick-up. Once they are off the base they'll be in the middle of no where. | |

| That was kinda what I had in mind, although initially it would be a resue attempt. However once they are out we can arrange a pick up by the calvary riding over the horizon. | |

| Oh yeah, that's good thinking Lac... they don't know that they are on move (slaps forehead, duh!). I wasn't thinking. Yeah, if they are on route with intentions to rescue they can then pick them up or provide support if they get into to hot water. (I have some ideas to make things interesting... 'If you go out in the woods today, You're sure of a big surprise. If you go out in the woods today, You'd better go in disguise...' | |

| Very, very nice work with the use of Morgan's power Sin. I am somewhat of a Sci-fi connoisseur and it always bother me when telepathic abilities are over used and exploited. One can only imagine the strain of projecting one's mind and the concentration it would it take to even form a minute telepathic bond between two minds. Well done! | |

| So I introduced another 'super-villain', but he's actually more 'neutral'. Shinigami, is not actually evil or without morals, just really good at killing people so it's his trade. He's one of those 'opposing characters' that requires team work or a good plan to defeat, so we can have some fun being creative in trying to combat his abilities. He's one of those super-hero types that can deflect bullets (not a barrage of course) with his swords and since he can teleport at will it is very difficult to get a good hit on the guy. His entire world is training and honing his skills so his fighting abilities are always at their best, so he's one of those 'villains' that has to be out smarted or reasoned with (if one has good negotiating skills). I always find it fun to create a powerful meta-human and then try and find their weak points in order to defeat them. I don't create them to be unbeatable, just challenging. Shinigami is an elite assassin that has been brought into a situation that normally he would never find himself in. While he is quite accustomed to killing meta-humans he usually pits his skills against those powerful super-hero types that villains pay huge sums of money to have taken out. A character trait that could be perceived as a weakness is that he enjoys a challenge and does not like to fight anyone who is not at their strongest if he feels that they would provide him with some competition. | |
