| RPM - I have no knowledge of such action and would not be decerned to discuss such action, if such action did in fact exist.
Tiph- Thanks, I thought it also illustrated how not all of the population was behind the Riggs Act.

| Yeah, I noticed that direction, Lac... I really like it. Dare I say, that some heroes may yet shake the dust from their masks? Very cool.
It makes a lot of sense that those people who live on the 'mean streets' would realize that things were better when there were super-heroes around to protect them.

| Well, poo!
That'll teach me to get extremely busy in RL . . . . ! The whole rescue story fell apart and Jeb's still sitting on his thumb in the hospital room next door!!!!
I feel like I should have him just phase out and disappear, my daughter will have graduated college by the time I read through everything and get caught up . . . . .

| Since Jeb can phase that could be your ticket to stay in the story.
Jeb could have been phasing around when everything went awry and would have possibly had the opportunity to secretly follow Yelena and Cassius when the escaped from the hospital down the elevator shaft.
Perhaps Jeb could be hidden somewhere in the ambulance right now, that is if he is able stay phased for extended periods of time. Ambulances have lots of nooks and crannies for a non-corporeal being to hide.
Just a thought. I am sure you can probably come up with something a little more colourful.
I guess another option is for Jeb to have somehow get picked up by the Beacon agents who are currently tracking the group in the ambulance via a minute transmitter in Tori's hand that he is currently unaware of. That would sort of put you on the other side of the fence though.

| Another possibility is that Jeb phased into or on the armoured vehicle that took Robert and Siege to the detention center. Which is hidden, so that the others could know it's location for latter. Perhaps he and Tim could hook up latter as well, before Tim returns to the safe house. Just some thoughts. | |

| Yeah, I considered that, but then nothing anomalous would avoid the scanner that the transport underwent before passing through the bay doors. After a bit of sleep now, I realize that he could easily slip out the truck before the scanning and avoid detection. He would then end up in the main docking bay area of the Detention Centre, the area called the 'Gauntlet'.
Jeb could then be the inside man... accept Toril was the only one that formally met him and they have no way of contacting each other so he would basically be solo. Another thing we'd have to consider is that we are keeping Seige out of commission until Vaudeville returns, that's why I left her in an induced common in Gamma-Theta Cell #2. I am not sure what to do with Seige after that... I mean, the story seems to be leaning toward the prison break scenario (although this could be easily diverted).
We just need to establish what to do with Siege.

| My thought was that Jeb would exit the vehicle before it was inside, thus just giving us the location. As far as Siege is concerned my vote would be to leave her in limbo until we see what happens. Back to Jeb, I think having him exit the vehicle before it was inside would allow Kynnzak flexability to pursue what ever course of action he deems prudent. Thoughts?

| I agree with you on Siege. She can stay in an induced coma in her cell until we know for sure if Vaudeville will want to resume her control over her. We could even arrange during the prison break that the characters are unable to get her out or R.A.I.D. moves her to another facility, something like that, if we need to stall for more time.
So did my Detention Centre write up make sense? Any confusion about anything? I tried to be as descriptive as I could without turning the post into a 'manual'. Basically it's pretty deep under the ground and there's one way in and one way out. I was thinking though that since they are trying to maintain some secrecy and there would be a suspicious amount of traffic, that the Saw Mill should be some sort of other active facility that is being used as a front. That's more realistic.
I am going to change the Abandoned Saw Mill to a company called 'The Eden Foundation'. Doctor Eden will actually be the front man for the 'fake company' which is a research facility dealing with plants and vegetation... 'Finding better ways to feed the earth.', that sort of stuff.
So I will make that modification. It will make things a little more interesting.

| I agree and it is a logical front for a covert government operation. Giving the illusion of doing something positive on one hand while the other does its evil.
As a side bar, I have what I think are the complete posts from The nines for Heroes but have only posted a few. If you all whish I could post the entire pages I have saved to disk. If you think it would help. I could post them under a new topic like "A look to the past." of something like that, it may be helpful to fill in some holes as to how we all came to be where we are now. Thoughts?

| E-x-c-e-l-l-e-n-t *tents fingers evilly* So I amended my posts and also posted a little write up The Eden Foundation. If anyone has anything to add to it, just add it or post it here and I'll modify it, whatever. It's weird how it worked out. I was creating some animosity between Michael Eden and the Warden and so it makes sense that The Eden Foundation pre-dates the Riggs Act. I am imagining that Eden got along with the former prison director, but when it became a R.A.I.D. Detention Centre a new warden would have been appointed and policies changed. Most of the tension between the two characters is due to Eden trying to retain the control he once had prior to R.A.I.D. Michael Eden's character opens up an array of story possibilities. Perhaps, he once did or still does work for Beacon... who knows? MUHAHAHAHAHA | |

| Thought it might be a good time to begin a new Chapter. The title can be changed if someone thinks up something better. I'll try and get a summary written of Chapter 1, but if Lac or RPM want to take on the task just put in the first post.
I was thinking it wouldn't be a bad idea to have summaries of preceding chapters so new participants can quickly get caught up.
If you guys want to keep chapter 1 going a little longer then we'll just lock the chapter 2 or delete it.

| I think it is a perfect time for chapter 2 and I agree the title is perfect. Especially due to the fact that the original metas are seperated right now. Although I think Tim will get word to either Zoe or Yelena some way soon. Either by some action that will be exploited across the news media or contact in another way. I am open to suggestions on that. Perhaps a leak that Tim's body was not found would work. Thoughts? | |

| The authorities don't know it was Tim behind the whel and all things that could identify him have been destroyed. Mentioning on the news that no body was found in the vehicle, when they finally are able to get the doors open, would work.
BUT....Tim could contact Zoe and Zoe will undoubtedly relay the news to the others.
Either way is good. | |

| Yeah that sounds good. The timing is just about right for my post on Henkel's and Jameson's discovery that Tim was not in the wreckage. The post is coming but if you want to make post in the mean time using that I'll just adapt to it. | |

| Go ahead Tiph and post not finding anyone in the vehicle. I think a combination of the two will work great. When noone is found in the vehicle, the others will know Tim got out, although they will not know if he is hurt or not. Yelena knows Tim is resiliant. He will figure out a way to contact Zoe. Will that work? | |

| Thar ya go pardner... I think Zoe should be able to intercept the FBI announcement that no body was found in the wreckage and that they are on the look out for a fugitive meta. | |

| Yeah, I was considering what kind of 'henchmen' Beacon might employ (aside from other meta-humans) then it occurred to me that Vacily being Colonel would just utilize his own resources and set up some special operations. The Marines have no idea they working for Beacon, just following orders. I armed them with the plasma weapons though. I figure if such technology existed in our world right now, it would be used quite commonly since it would be far more effective than 'tasers'. The Marines will attempt to stun and subdue before kill, so the Heroes have a chance. Oh and even though I alluded to Vacily briefing the soldiers on their targets, he would have only been able to comment on Toril's powers... he did not comment on Yelena, so they are unaware that they are dealing with a shape-shifter. Otherwise they may employ the use of code-words and such to protect their identities. | |

| Well, well, well. Looks as if Tim has a hitch hiker. Enjoy your freedom Rutherford, Henkel and Jameson will get you... they're just a little stumped at the moment. LOL. | |
