Anyone with any ideas as to what is on the chip, feel free to chime in. My first thoughts were it might be evidence of;
1.) a nuclear weapons plant
2.) a uranium enchrichment facility
3.) a bioweapons facitity
4.) a nuclear missle site
in a terrorist sponsoring country. Just thoughts I am open to almost any thing.

However, Michael does have a race to run to keep his cover up.

How about the chip or card, contains information on a new crime syndicate's plan to wreak havoc on the world?

Not too sure of the details... we would have to establish who this crime syndicate is and work out the details of the type of global disaster they are planning and how they would benefit from it.

Or something to that effect. We can also combine the ideas, and they are in fact planning on setting off a nuke somewhere.

Oh, and now that we have the data... I think Michael better watch out in the race. Driving a care around a track at high speeds, accidents can happen.

Yes accidents can happen. I like the idea of a crime syndicate perhaps they have stolen a nuke or nukes and are planning to blackmail the governments of the free world. Perhaps to set of a nuke in the middle east somewhere.

How about some sneaky syndicate looking to capitalize on another war? One might think, that a crime organization looking to make a profit, might strike a deal with some faction in the Middle East to create another war to keep allied forces busy. Say, framing North Korea? If some spies were able to infiltrate North Korea and shoot off a nuke from there they would stir up a hornet's nest.

Just an idea.

Yea I think that would do it, however would they not make a bigger profit by say nuclear weapons grade uranium or weapons from say the old Soviet Union or Pakistan to North Korea and Iran or aa terrorist organization such as Hamas ot the Taliban. I am not opposed to the idea of thenm trying to set of a nuke from North Korea just to show they could, say targeting Formosa or Australia or even Antartica that would cause a bit of a mess.

I like the idea that they (who ever 'they' are) have obtained weapons grade uranium from some weapons they procured from Russia after the iron curtain was opened.

It's not all that unbelievable and with that sort of thing in their possession, they will have all sorts of people knocking their door down to get to it. It wold certainly bring top dollar from the highest bidder and let's face it, in the end, it's all about the money.

I don't like the idea of a nuke being launched from any country unless some kind of defense system gets to them before they can do any damage to human life. While I know we are all possible casualties of war, I just don't like writing about it like that. But I do like the idea that they've launched one to prove they have what they say they have and to open the bidding for their product.

Just my two cents worth, guys.

I agree Deb and the idea of opening the bidding is an excellant idea. I am sure the the missle after it was launced could be destroyed before it stuck humanity anywhere. Perhaps it was launched from a submarine or an undersea or ground site.

That sounds cool to me.

If they hit Antartica with multiple warheads, as a demonstration, would it not melt all if not most of the ice, and disrupt the magnetic field of the earth, causing untold choas which they could profit from?

We should just role play whether or not they get nuke fired off. That could be one of the objectives of the characters. They can try and stop the missle and should they fail then we just go beyond and have them deal with the syndicate and their demands. Whether or not the characters are able to stop the missle or however they intend to deploy the weapon, the characters will still go head to head with this ultimate evil syndicate bent on profiting off of destruction and chaos.

Sounds good to me. Let the director take the lead. Micahel will absorb it but he will be playing true to the illusion of being a self centered egotistical brat. I think that is how someone described Michael. But I would not want to point any figers at anyone.

I'll try posting something in a generic fashion then the characters can work together at deciphering it.

Thanks. Yeah, the missile is just a part of the scheme... it may not even be that significant in the end, I dunno. I just know that so often when 'agents' find some top secret information it's a conglomeration of plans and they have to figure out what is pertinent.

We can all throw some ideas into the pot now and after that send the 'chip' to the CIA analysts for further investigation. It would be nice to have some leads to follow in the meantime though.

I'm drawing a blank right now, but I'm going to do some research to see what I can come up with.

I just thought of this and wanted to run it by you guys.

The biggest fear these days are 'dirty' bombs.

What if we add a layer to this nuke by adding a biological agent that will be spread with the fall out? To add complications to it, anyone that gets near the bomb will be exposed to it as well.

There is an antidote to it so it's not like it's totally fatal if you catch it in time.
