| ALRICK Age: ??? Height: 5’ 10” Weight: 160 Hair: Dark Brown Eyes: Brown Alrick was the most inept of all Wizard Fylendorf’s apprentices, but his disappointing life’s path took a dramatic turn when an evil sorceress named Sirax came to steal an ancient artifact from Fylendorf. For reasons unexplained, the wizard had given this artifact, a large crystal known as Deamathir, into Alrick’s safekeeping, and when the sorceress arrived, Alrick was caught in the middle of a battle of magic between Fylendorf and Sirax. The conflict caused the crystal to shatter and deliver strange power, including the magic of both Fylendorf and Sirax, into Alrick’s being. Fylendorf died protecting Alrick and the enraged sorceress turned the unfortunate wizard’s apprentice into a pig. However, due perhaps to the magic now inhabiting Alrick, or a failing on the depleted sorceress’s part, the curse was very unstable. While Sirax meant to weave the curse so that only true love’s kiss could break it, it turned out that any kiss could free Alrick from the spell—at least temporarily. But Alrick’s man state is just as unstable as the pig’s, and if he is ever exposed to powerful spells—either his own or another’s—he stands a good chance of reverting to pig form. To be restored, someone must kiss him again. When transformed into a pig, everything on Alrick’s person transforms with him, though the items then cannot be accessed again until he is returned to man form. He also cannot use magic of any kind while a pig. In fact, the pig’s form is extremely resistant to magic, and most magic will usually fail to have any effect on the pig—regardless of the whether the spell is helpful or harmful. He also does not age when he is a pig. Because of the decades Alrick has lived as a pig, he has some pig-like tendencies that can make him come across as eccentric. Also affecting his manners and mind is the shear volume of magical power that constantly dwells in him—enough to drive most people mad—which can make him become addled from time to time. While trained under Fylendorf to use the good magics that aid the creatures of the earth, he is also inhabited by the dark magic torn from Sirax by the crystal, and he can use this magic if he so chooses. However, as one burdened by too-great power and also one who did not complete his training, Alrick’s command of all this magic is unreliable… He has some basic skill in defending himself with a staff as well as the dagger at his belt, but nothing to write home about. He’s not a fighter, he’s a cook. For the detailed story on Alrick, see 'Alrick's Tale,' in the 'Scrolls of Gladsheim.'

| NAME: Ssinjin “Jin” Dalhar K’Nyan RACE: Drow (Dark) Elf APPEARANCEWhile Jin is a Drow Elf, she is still an Elf and she has many of the Elven features of the surface kind. Angular features, almond shaped eyes, pointed ears and a petite form. She stands approximately 5'3" tall. Her skin is dark and her hair snow white. Her eyes are usually a soft, light brown color. When it's dark, her eyes glow a soft red color. STORY:Ssinjin was the youngest daughter and sixth child born to the Matron Mother of the First House, the House of K’Nyan, in her home city located below the surface of the world. She was tutored, like all female Drow, from infancy to be the superior race and sex. Between her schooling in dark magic with the mages in her society, she was schooled in the art of physical fighting, weapons use and pleasures ones body can bring. While Ssinjin wasn’t the biggest female, standing only 5’3”, she was rather small for the group of students she was sent to school with. Time and time again she proved herself more than capable of using her magic and her fighting skills. Jin had to go the extra distance and fight harder because of the fact she was small and she the fact she was the youngest daughter born to her Matron. Even her brother, Verin, was older than she was. Ssinjin found favor in her Mother’s eyes, to her Sister’s and Brother’s chagrin, and soon found herself taking on mission to the surface for her Mother more than her siblings for her Mother was grooming her to be a Priestess for Lloth and Lloth was most pleased by the Matron’s decision. It was during one of those missions her brother, Verin, murdered her Mother and Sisters in an effort to upset the Drow society and become the most powerful male and rule the city, effectively overturning centuries of female rule over an entire society. His ultimate goal was to have the many powerful, magical rings his Mother wore as his own. Verin, not realizing his sister Jin was not in the house at the time, became enraged when he discovered her alive and well AND assisting a male, half-elf surface dweller protect a Druid. The only surviving Druid from a sect he destroyed using his Mother’s Ruby Fire ring. Ssinjin, finding out the betrayal of her brother, has sworn to destroy him in the most painful ways she can imagine. As she helps the half-elf, she is learning the ways of the surface dwellers. It was during this time she confronted her brother and while he tried to kill her using one of his deadly poisonous daggers, the deity she had worshipped from childhood abandoned her. While Lloth, the Spider Queen, saved her life she cursed Jin with an un-healing wound where Verin’s blade struck her. The Goddess banished her form ever returning to the life she had always known. With no deity to worship, Jin was certain she would lose her ability to wield the magic spells she had learned and die a slow, painful death, Jin was blessed with the presence of another deity, Eilistraee. Eilistraee challenged Jin to learn her ways and in exchange, she would teach Jin to function in the surface world she was now vanquished to. Jin knows the road ahead of her is going to be difficult and she also knows it’s only through learning from the half-elf and the other traveling companions that join their cause that she will be able to learn to live in this wide open world she must now survive in. (For more info on Eilistraee, please visit this wonderful site) Chosen of Eilistraee

| SHAPE (PC - PLAYER CHARACTER) A sleak muscular silver and grey wolf with eyes of icy blue that glint faintly red, an Elhaz Rune and a small crystal angel with a blue sapphire in her chest, around his neck, looks around, pads to a place close to the door, circles three times and sits slowly down next to Lac'Nala his head held high regaly. Shape has protected, watched over and been a constant companion to Lac since Lac was a child. Although Shape is incapable of speach, he does under stand Elvish and the common tounge of man. | |

| Beldegir:
Age: 80 Height: 4’ 10” Weight: 160 Hair: Black Eyes: Brown
Appearance:
Short in stature though just around average for a dwarf he is stead fast on his mount or on the ground. A blacksmith by trade has created a high endurance for heat as well as pain. he dons chain mail for battle and can be found signing local lore, even in battle, while swinging his mighty hammer which is rumored to have some special qualities spun by a Elvish priest. Upon his head rest his father helm, with an eagles feather firmly attached.
Story:
When he was birthed the sage caste his name on him and spun a tale about a darkening eve. It is said he is to play a part in it but the part is unknown.
He has never taken heed in this story and instead put forth his efforts to the practice of foundry. He has a passion for rings of power and has learned though Elves are barely tolerable they are exceptional in weaving their powers in the metals when the forger knows the ways of the deep fires of the mountains.
With the tales of one who wears many rings and is said to be a mighty mage and is threatening to destroy the lands. He ascends from the dark tunnels to the land of the surface and has pledged to his gods to bring the threat to its end.
With a mighty dwarven hammer and his bow in hand he has consulted his seers and knows that a small band is heading towards the land. Who they are he does not know but it is told a dark force is gathering on the other side of their realm and he will go and find what he can. It might be time for the king’s mighty armies to rise and fight on the lands yet once again.
He prays his hammer is enough but will if need be use the despised chants that he has learned at the hand of the Eleven mage who comes so often for the reinforcement of mighty bows and blades.
On his rams he head down the path to fulfill it would seem the vision he had so long sneered at.
Hrodvitne is the name of his mount rightly named for its cunning and skills in a hunt. |

| Beldegir is approved!! Welcome to the fray, Krakyn! Have Beldegir join the party as soon as you can find a way to introduce him. With the group just waking after some much needed rest, it might be a good time to bring him in soon, sugar. Oh joy....Jin is going to be absolutely thrilled to have a dwarf join the party. NOT! But hey, she's a drowress...what did you expect from her? A flower petal parade? | |

| The Dunedain are a race of man who dwelt under the protection of the Valar and in friendship of the Eldar. they became mighty in craft. If they had had a mind they could easily have surpassed the evil kings of Middle-earth in the making of war and thr forging of weapons; but they were become men of peace. Above all arts they nourished ship-building and sea craft, and they became mariners whose like shall never be again since the world has diminished; and voyaging on the open sea was the chief feat and adventure of their hardy men in the gallant days of their youth. But the Lords of Valinor forbade then to sail so far westward that the coast. Many of the Dunedain traveled westward. They are a race blessed with long life Dwelling in the Northwest of Numenor. They alone of all races of Men knew and spoke an Elvish tounge; for their forefathers had learned the Sindarin tounge, and this the handed on to their children as a matter of lore, changing little with the passing of years. And their men of wisdom learned also the High-elven Quenya and esteemed it above all other tounges.
At the time of our tale, they have all but vanished. Some even believe them to be myth. | |

| Tiphereth Sorrelwind (The Wind of Sorrows) Standing 6'4" tall and weighing 240 lbs, Tiphereth appears to be a very muscular Elf with the way his golden orange hair flows and his flawless pale skin catches the light. His eyes, however are a luminescent purple by day and as darkness falls they turn black as pitch, dark as a goblin's merciless glare. In fact he is akin to the Elvish race, but hails from another realm, a glorious world known as Arkauld upon which stretches the vast continent of Ranslath. His people are the Deithir, a race of Phaerie related to an Elvish race known as the Daeyel, a people that had dwelled in the world long before the Elves awoke upon Middle Earth. They are a magical people, gentle of feature but endowed with powerful physiques making them as formidable in melee as they are with spell. They have acute senses, able to detect a whisper in the corner of a crowded room and have an a sensitivity to emotions that all Phaerie possess. There eyes are sharp, able to track an arrow as though it were thrown, can see under starlight as a man sees in the day and in total blackness their surrounding a revealed to them as if all were illuminated by soft violet moonlight. As a Phaerie, Tiphereth can become light at will, able to float on the wind and cannot use or touch iron. Thus he his kind utilize weaponry crafted of metal similar to platinum, but far stronger as it is the most common metal in his world while iron is rare and considered taboo by the Aelaeydium, the greater gods. He has never known child-hood, 'awakening' into the world fully mature, but as he is timeless so is his physical form and he can appear as a child or even an elderly man should he choose. Tiphereth's entire body is adorned with magical markings called, 'talisquetry', magical symbols that people risk death to have etched into their flesh, but some, like him are born with the sigils. Through his talisquetry, Tiphereth was born with his weapon of choice, a long bladed spear with a double blade that he wields like a sword in battle. It's edge is sharp and should it break or he cannot retrieve it after a throw can be dispelled and it's form returns to his arm, able to be summoned once more. He wears an ornate purple coloured jacket and beneath it a flowing tunic over black leggings. His elaborate high leather boots end at mid-thigh and he also carries with him a pale purple-blue coloured cloak most like the colour of a twi-light sky. All of his possessions are carried within an ornate shoulder satchel that one who travels a time with him would notice to hold far more than one would think possible. -----------*-----------*-----------*----------- The onset of the evening cool stirred the tree tops and the campfire danced in the embrace of a playful wind as a stranger descended from the tree tops. Falling as lightly and near as slow as an autumn leaf, he landed upon the forest floor, soundless, save for the settling of his long golden orange hair across his heavy surcoat the colour of the twi-light sky.
The intruder stood but a few strides from the camp, in plain sight of the occupants, making no efforts to conceal nor defend himself. He uttered not a word, only curiously looked about the group with strange luminescent eyes, that radiated a violet glow in the light, faded into vibrant lavender irises in the shade and then to inky black in darkness.
He was tall, and powerfully built as a warrior and though his ears bore points, he did not 'feel' of Elfin-kynde but of something else that was perhaps a distant kin. Beautiful markings coloured with the hues of Autumn adorned his pale white skin. Drawings of leaves, sigils and strange runes were visible across the areas of exposed flesh, and one with keen eyes would swear that some of the images moved ever so slightly.
In his right hand, he carried what at first seemed a staff, but closer inspection revealed that it was a spear, the long double bladed head covered with an ornate wooden sheath. His only other visible weapon, was a long knife on his belt, it's sheath decorated with elaborate embroidery...-----------*-----------*-----------*----------- Gifts of GaladrielPetrified Birch Amulet with a braided vine necklace.Inscribed with the words: "Satolrayraeossawisforuthaylis Wilistinayday" (Sorrowful Wind) The amulet identifies him as Estalorfae Falrenithethnelda (Translation: Elf Friend) Elven Long Knife - "Palrayothtaeethaceltaeolrel" (Protector) Forged by Nevtherra of Lorthlorien it is enchanted with a ward to protect the Phaeirie from the effects that metals have upon his kind.

| Name: Jack Rose Height: 5'6" Weight: 120 lbs Hair: Blonde Eyes: light blue Distinguishing features: none
Abilities: Able to cross over to the ethereal plane (spirit world) and communicate with the spirits there. When he crosses from ethereal to material a strong wind is felt as he breaks through the barriers. The process of crossing does tend to take a bit out of him and will leave the man pale. Crossing too many times will drain him physically.
Weapons: Longsword that is strapped to his back with a quiver of arrows and a dagger at his side. The bow is usually carried in his hand.
History: Jack was an honorable warrior that had been struck down in battle. He was found by some priest that managed to bring him back from the brink of death but at a cost none had foreseen.
Legend: The ghostwalker first appears in elven legends to fight against a powerful drow sorceress. He then vanishes, never to be seen again. After that one appears in the legends of man, bringing a powerful baron to justice after the body of a young woman had been found in a shallow grave. Again he vanishes. Each time the ghostwalker appears it is around the same time as an injustice or to fight against some evil. This time will be no different. |

| Othargren IronfistAge: 66 (Dwarves live to about 250) ... Hgt: 4'10" ... Wgt: 180 lbs ... Hair: Red ... Eyes: Blue Armaments & Significant Items: Chainmail and Helm. Battleaxe and Throwing axes. Gifts of Galadriel: Mithreal Chain-mail Tunic Amulet: Emerald Elven Leaf resting upon a silver Dwarven Battleaxe on a silver chain. Languages: Khuzdul, Iglishmek (Secret Dwarven language based on gestures, known only to Dwarven-kind), The common tongue of Westron. Orthargren is from the House of Ironfist which lies in the Orocarni Mountains at the eastern end of the land of Rhûn, beyond which is the Land of Oron_D_Narr. While many of the people of Middle Earth are unfamiliar with the ancient land to the east, the Dwarves of Orocarni know them well, and have long shared an alliance with their people. He is the second eldest brother of ten, and next in line to rule the House of Ironfist should tragedy ever befall his father (Barldren) or elder brother, Aubrynd. He is loyal to the clan, and carries the name of Ironfist with pride and while he would be honored to rule his house, he loves his brother and is content with his station, harboring no animosity to any of his kin. Orocarni (From Tolkien Gateway) The Orocarni also known as Red Mountains was a mountain range in the far east of Middle-earth.
The Orocarni roughly followed the line of the Red Mountains which had been made by the Valar before Arda was marred and the symmetry was lost in the wars against Melkor.
On the western slopes of the Orocarni grew the Wild Wood, and near a great waterfall of a river that flowed into the Inland Sea of Helcar the bay of Cuiviénen lay, where the Elves woke.
On the western slopes of the Orocarni grew the Wild Wood, and near a great waterfall of a river that flowed into the Inland Sea of Helcar the bay of Cuiviénen lay, where the Elves woke.
At their northern edge the Orocarni connected with the Ered Engrin, forming a situation much as the Ered Luin in the far west.
Four of the seven Fathers of the Dwarves awoke in the range.
After the end of the First Age the Orocarni remained, and it formed the eastern end of the land of Rhûn.
One of the rivers that arose in the Orocarni flowed into the inland Sea of Rhûn.
Because the Orocarni were far to the east, they were not visited by the Eldar, and the Edain did not reach them until the Fourth Age, the Orocarni do not appear in any of the tales of the Red Book of Westmarch. Othargren has so far lead a charmed life. His family is one of the wealthiest in a clan that has amassed more precious metals than the Stiffbeards, Blacklocks or Stonefoots whose halls they share the mountains with. As the strongest of the clans, it is the House of Ironfist that rules their council and it is they that the Dwarves turn to in times of war when a leader is required. This position of authority has given Orthagren a lot of status among his people and it has inspired him to become a great warrior that they might look up to, as he wants to be respected as the man he is and not just for his title. His endeavor to become stronger has lead him down a road of war, and it is he that has lead his kin in many a battle as opposed to his elder brother, but never has he allowed himself to feel superior to him. Othargren believes that he is meant to be the protector of his clan and would never begrudge his brothers claim to Ironfist. He does, however, believe it is time to unite all the Dwarven Houses and stand against the darkness growing once more in the world and has taken it upon himself to leave his beloved home and travel far to hold counsel with the other clan leaders.

| Galadriel - Lady Galadriel Race: Elves Date of Birth: Around 1362 of the Years of the Trees Arrived in Middle-earth: Year 1 of the First Age Left Middle-earth: September 29, 3021 of the Third Age Residences: Lothlorien Parents: Finarfin & Earwen Siblings: 4 brothers: Finrod, Orodreth, Angrod, Aegnor Spouse: Celeborn Children: 1 daughter - Celebrian Ring: Nenya Height: 6 feet, 4 inches Hair color: Golden touched with silver Galadriel, the Lady of the Golden Wood of Lothlorien, was the most powerful Elf in Middle-earth in the Third Age. She had been one of the leaders of the Noldor who left the Undying Lands in defiance of the Valar, and she was the last of them to remain in Middle-earth. Galadriel's father was Finarfin and her mother was Earwen. On the Great Journey to the Undying Lands, Finarfin's father Finwe led the Elves known as the Noldor and Earwen's father Olwe became the leader of the Teleri. Galadriel was born in the Undying Lands around the year 1362 of the Years of the Trees, before the First Age began. She had four older brothers: Finrod, Orodreth, Angrod, and Aegnor. As was customary among the Elves in the Undying Lands, Galadriel was given a name at birth by her father and another name by her mother. Her father-name was Artanis, meaning "noble woman," and her mother-name was Nerwen, meaning "man-maiden." The mother-name was generally chosen with insight into the type of person a child would become. Galadriel grew to be six feet, four inches in height - unusually tall for a female Elf - and she was strong and athletic. It is said that in time Galadriel became the greatest of the Noldor, except perhaps for her uncle Feanor, the creator of the Silmarils. Galadriel was very wise. While living in the Undying Lands, she learned much from Yavanna, the Vala of growing things, and Aule, the master of crafts. Galadriel had great insight into other people's minds and she was understanding and merciful, but she was also proud and willful. Galadriel was incredibly beautiful. Her hair was a magnificent gold touched with silver, and it seemed to shine with the light of the Two Trees of Valinor. It is said that Feanor requested a strand of Galadriel's hair, but she refused. It may be that Feanor was inspired by Galadriel's hair when he captured the light of the Two Trees in the Silmarils.

| For consideration: Augustine the druid. Augustine is the sole survivor of the attack perpetrated by the Drow known as Verin on a peaceful druid monastery. Physical Description: He stands just under 6 feet tall. Augustine wears a tan and worn simple druid's robe, it is made from thick deer hide. He has short, sandy reddish hair and a reddish beard he keeps trimmed. Augustine has blue eyes and a bright smile. Augustine is not fully aware of his good looks. Personality:Augustine is quiet and shy. Augustine is a non violent man and soft spoken. He has never known a woman and they make him nervous. Augustine's power is centered on growing things (trees especially) he meditates in the morning and at sunset everyday, he will insist on this no matter what the situation. He will meditate alone and in silence among the silent trees. Quirks and Faults:Augustine is not a warrior and detests violence but is learning that sometimes terrible things must be done in order to survive. Augustine is quiet and hard to read, he is used to a quiet, studious lifestyle. Augustine will refuse to wield a weapon, he will always rely on his powers. Augustine is dumbstruck by women and does not know how to speak with them. Background and History:Augustine is the last of his sect, he has had to flee his ruined monastery in the west and now wanders from town to town always fearing that Verin will hunt him down and finish what he started. Augustine was severely burned and disfigured in the fire attack at the monastery, weeks later he was healed in an amazing turn of events by a powerful water nymph, an ancient water spirit. Although his physical wounds are healed he still carries the trauma of the death of his brothers and his own pain with him. Augustine has traveled with Lac'Nala and Jin in the past and would welcome the chance to do so again. Powers and Skills:Augustine was the very best of his sect, his powers have come a long way in a short time. Augustine's powers center around the green, growing things of the forests, mountains and fields. Augustine can straight up speak with trees and other plants, they understand him and will do what he commands. He can force things to grow rapidly, or to shrink away to nothing, this is second nature to him, it is just like breathing. The druid can turn a patch of sandy plains to a lush acre of green. Augustine has a vast knowledge of plants and their properties. Augustine is also an accomplished healer, but this a distant second to his abilities with trees and other plants. Augustine has many mysterious connections to trees and natural bodies of water. | |
