EPISODE 1 • ALL VAMPIRES MUST DIE! - Page 4 Jakobmodern
Yerick made some distance between him and the ghoul before waiting for it to lunge. He sliced the arm off at the elbow with a savage cut allowing him to sneak in with a fit to its other arm stopping it from swinging in it gave him time to slice through ugly ghouls neck. Yerick looked around seeing the others struggling he pulled another one of his spare knives flinging it round he lifted his wrist in the typical throwing pose and threw it at one of the ghouls attacking Jayden hoping to disrupt the thing for her.

EPISODE 1 • ALL VAMPIRES MUST DIE! - Page 4 Strom_nachtbruck

Strom was trying to think, but he was having difficulty concentrating with at least three undead horror bearing down on him. All he could do was react and as one of the creatures fell upon him, he thrust his legs up in defense and caught the walking corpse in the chest, balancing it for a few moments before propelling it through the air and into the other two behind it. Unfortunately, the creatures were indeed supernatural, and despite their having the light weight of a desiccated corpse, they were incredibly strong on their feet . The two ghoulish monsters remained rigid as the other bounced off them and landed at their feet, then it rose started to slowly rise again snarling like a mad dog, a chlorus slim oozing from the corners of it's decayed maw.

That was it! Strom scrambled to his feet and sprinted away, hurdling the low wall in an impressive display of agility and strength... at least where hurdling walls was concerned. He landed lightly, not breaking stride as he continued his sprint away and ended up right in line with another of the monsters, one of those attacking the woman. Seeing that the thing was yet oblivious to his presence, Strom built up his speed, leapt into the air and put both of his feet into the creatures back and pushed with all his strength. There was the gross sound of bones snapping and the zombie tumbled along the ground in a flailing mass, striking a tombstone with a loud thud as Strom fell to the ground and quickly sprang up again, ready to defend himself.

Were it a man that had received such a blow, they would not be rising but the zombie merely stood up and once more started walking toward him and the woman, the hollow sound of it's snapping jaws echoing through the cemetery. Then behind, one of the headless creatures, wobbled to it's feet, staggering about like a drunk. The decapitated undead monster, flailed it's arms about blindly, one of it's long finger nails actually striking one of it's brethren.

"We have to burn them." Strom, mentioned to the Scottish woman while he slowly backed away from the approaching zombies, reaching into his jacket pocket for one of the other items he had brought with him. He produced a smaller bottle of fuel and a lighter, but it was hardly enough to burn them all, let alone one of the horrors. He had brought it in case he might have to ignite something, and he wasn't about to try and light up one of the creatures that had not yet been incapacitated. If he lit a moving one then he feared that they would then be dealing with a flaming undead creature and this would not aid their fight.

EPISODE 1 • ALL VAMPIRES MUST DIE! - Page 4 Warric11Jayden understood what he meant and also knew that they had to burn them after they'd been decapitated. "Okay.....I'll do me best ta take their bloody heads.....ye burn the bastards!!!" She tucked and rolled, coming to her feet in a graceful motion, positioning herself to the side of one of the creatures. Slicing out with her bowie knife, she took it's head easily enough, jumping over the falling body and kicking into the next one, knocking it off balance. As it went down, she turned around so that she was behind it as it rose to it's feet, slicing out again it's head rolling towards the other. She turned in time to avoid a swiping hand from yet another of the undead, ducking and dodging the swings. "BURN THEM THAT IS DOWN!!! I'LL GET THIS ONE DOWN AS WELL!!" But, this one wasn't as easy as the others for every time she tried to get behind it, it would turn to face her. When she tried to advance through ducking and dodging, it seemed to know what she was going to do and stopped her from getting close.

EPISODE 1 • ALL VAMPIRES MUST DIE! - Page 4 Strom_nachtbruck

Strom held his small bottle of fuel up high for the woman to see that he had very little, but she was too busy battling the undead monsters. If only he had brought his jerry can of gasoline he kept in the truck, but he never actually considered ever running into zombies in a graveyard. He had to think, but first he had to dodge. One of the undead things came at him, flailing it's clawed hands at his throat. Instinctively the German bobbed and weaved away in the classic style of a boxer, tucking his elbows in and keeping his chin low, these creatures however were a far cry from his opponents in the ring. Still, he couldn't help throwing out a few stiff jabs, his left hand drumming three quick blows off the thing's boney face. No effect, not that he was expecting them to do any damage, but it did allow him to get out the animated corpse's raking attacks and skip up onto large stone sarcophagus.

The Autumn sun was setting fast and already the remains of day were but a crimson band along the horizon and in the unlit cemetery they would soon be at disadvantage. It dawned on Strom, then that he could kill two birds with one stone when he spied a few feet away from his position an old dried out pond; a large square pool which had long been emptied of water and replaced with dried leaves and branches — a fire pit.

The zombie lunged at Strom's legs and the fleet man, leaped off the sarcophagus and over it, landing near the old pool. He quickly then ran round until he was near the middle and dowsed the branches with what fuel he had. The zombie spun around and began shambling toward him, as he pulled out his lighter and set the debris on fire. The branches dowsed with the fuel immediately were set a blaze, the fire spread fast as the undead monster lunged once more at Strom. In moments old part of the cemetery, concealed from the highway by many large trees and illuminated by the orange glow of the flames. Dark shadows danced across the bushes and tombstones, as the hunters and zombies fought and finally, Strom took up his knife, side stepped a lunging attack and drove it home. It was a luck hit, impaling the creature in the back of the skull, allowing him to hold firm and direct the thing right into the fire pit, jerking the blade free and kicking the thing into the flames. As the zombie lay on the burning sticks, it struggled to free itself. It was head was still in tact and so it fought to survive, crawling from the flames, refusing to be consumed, but Strom ignored the slow moving ghoul and concentrated on gathering other decapitated bodies, tossing them into the pyre.

It was an image right out Dante's Inferno, a hellish scene as the animated bodies continued to flail their arms about as they slowly burned away. As they fought to escape, Strom found an old rake and used it to shove them back in, even using the tool to drag the bodies across the soil to their fiery grave.

EPISODE 1 • ALL VAMPIRES MUST DIE! - Page 4 Jakobmodern
Yerick smiled as he heard them yell burn it....well dur what else are you going to do with anything they hunted the trick was to destroy all there remnants and burning was the easiest way. He reached down removing the clawed hand from his stomach flipping it round as some blood dripped from his stomach he sucked in a breath as he threw it at the nearest ghouls legs laughably tripping the creature. He smashed his knife down on the things spine splitting it in two. He looked over seeing the new bonfire he left it sprawled on the ground as Strom could drag the writhing thing into the bonfire he went to another grabbing its foot as it tried to claw its way to its head dragging it and hopping over the wall he yanked on the leg scrapping it along he threw it into the fire. He slowly walked to the ones picking themselves up dragging them to the fire-tender strom... “Nice job that.” Throwing another one in he turned seeing Jayden having some troubles with one... “Gun please?” Looking to Strom with his open hand he could see the revolver easily and he wasn't about to use his hidden gun afterall it had as much chance hitting Jayden than the ghoul with his piece of WW2 junk.

'Schizer!'

That was all that went through, Strom's mind when Yerick requested the revolver that he had haphazardly thrust into his inside pocket. He didn't have many silver bullets to spare and the six that were loaded into the gun would be sorely missed, but he didn't hesitate when the Russian asked for the gun, immediately tossing the sub nose .44 to him.

"Those are silv—" Strom started to say, but Yerick was already firing, so he turned his attention to yet another headless zombie staggering through the woods, blindly searching for a victim.

EPISODE 1 • ALL VAMPIRES MUST DIE! - Page 4 Warric11Jayden heard Yerick yell for the revolver and the German guy holler something about 'silv' but got no further. She'd already pegged him for a fellow hunter and assumed that he was trying to tell him that the bullets in the gun were silver. As she took the head off another undead and kicked him into the fire, she turned, yelling at Yerick, "YERICK!!!! SILVER BULLETS....IN GUN!! YE NEED A BLADE.....SAVE SILVER.....FOR BEAST!!!" Whether he heard her or not, she didn't know as she was too busy blocking the blow from a particularly large ghoul.

The bony hand swung out at her and she rolled out of the way, but this one was faster than the others and swung around, clipping her on the temple. She went down, seeing stars as the damned thing advanced on her. She back pedaled until she could regain her feet and stood ready, balancing herself on the balls of her feet. She kept looking around, seeing a few others approaching, but not near as fast as this big guy. That was when she heard a shuffling of feet behind her and the hair on the back of her neck raised up. She risked a quick glance behind her and saw two more large ghouls coming at her. This was not good. She also realized that with the blow to her now bleeding temple, the ghoul had knocked her away from the fire. She had to get back there...it was the only way to get rid of them.

She was still dizzy from the blow, but kept steady, her mind running through different scenarios quickly. That was when she saw the tree with it's low-hanging branch. The branch looked to be about seven to eight feet off the ground. If she could get a good jump, she might be able to grab it and swing herself behind them, forcing them to turn around and head back to the fire. She judged the distance as the tree was to her left, the large undead about twenty feet in front of her and advancing fast, the two behind sounded like they were closer. Sheathing her bowie, she ran, feeling the ghoul's bony fingers rip into her right upper arm, drawing more blood but she didn't stop as she jumped, just making the grab and swinging herself in around so that she landed just behind the large ghoul. She landed in a tucked roll, rolling to her feet and running back to the fire.

"I be tired of bleeding, German........let's end this and end this now!! That big one seems to be the fastest and the two tha' were behind me just as big and fast. Something tells me that there is a reason why they are bigger, faster and stronger than the others. Mayhap if we take the three of them oot, the rest will fall?"

EPISODE 1 • ALL VAMPIRES MUST DIE! - Page 4 Jakobmodern
Yerick heard there yells pushing the drum out and up tipping it catching the silver bullets he shoved them into his left pocket reaching into his right though he pulled a large bag he pushed around in it for a long time before picking out the .44 rounds for the revolver slotting them in he only had four of the rounds shoving the bag back in his pocket and flicked his wrist with a very trained hand the drum flicked back into the revolver he aimed casually it seemed with one hand waiting.... the German saw him fire two shots not realising he had done a bullet switch

He waited till it got close waiting for it to attack whoever once it would start its attack he would shoot the ghoul at least opening a huge gap for whoever was attacked to get in close and sever that things head they sure were big....maybe he should do it himself looking to the two wondering if either were....used to this situation he gave a laugh seeing their....inexperience with ghouls he unsheathed his knife again from its place a weapon in each hand....was it time for him to attack or was someone else going to take his suicide mission?

EPISODE 1 • ALL VAMPIRES MUST DIE! - Page 4 Strom_nachtbruck

Strom felt ill with the sound of each round that the Russian squeezed off. He had been counting on those rare bullets for the werewolf, hoping that they would at least slow the bloody thing down and confirm whether or not they were truly dealing with a lycanthrope. He heard the words of the Scott, as she ran by and indeed there were three, that were larger and more cunning it seemed. The token carriers! They must be! The way the other things seemed to protect the larger ones confirmed his theory and Strom was positive what they had to do, and by the 'they' he meant more the mad Russian and wild Scottish woman. If ever, someone was needed to go ten rounds with the living, he was there man, but the undead just wasn't his forté.

"Yerrick!" Called out Strom, "The big ones! Cut off their left hands!"

If Strom was right, they each bore a token; a coin or medallion, embedded into the backs of their left hands, the hand of the devil. Remove the hand and sever the spell. Hopefully the Russian could accomplish this task, unfortunately to pull it off he was going to need some help, so gripping his knife tightly the German moved to engage one the creatures to clear a path for Yerrick.

EPISODE 1 • ALL VAMPIRES MUST DIE! - Page 4 Warric11Jayden heard Strom's yell to Yerrick and dared a quick look at the larger three ghouls. Yes!!! The tokens......that was when she remembered something her father had told her when she was a little girl telling her that if one was strong enough or had made a pact with an evil being or spirit, then all they had to do was pay a token to raise powerful ghouls admist the weaker, slower undead. The tokens were always carried in the left hand, embedded in the back of their hands. Take the left hand, burn it and the rest would fall. But you had to get all three.

"What do ye think I am, German?! Chopped mutton? A woman I be, but a bloody damn good fighter I be as well!!" She turned towards the approaching large ghoul and drew her bowie knife again. "Come on, ye filthy pieces of shite!! Lend me ye're hand....preferably ye're left one."

She ran towards him, yelling as she went, "Keep the slow bastards off of me, German!! Being smaller than ye, I have a better chance of avoiding his blows!!" She tucked herself into a roll, rolling behind him, coming to her feet as she was still moving, slicing out with her big knife, slicing through the back of the calf, but it didn't stop him, just caused him to stagger as he swung around, his large, clawed hand swinging for her. She ducked the blow, coming back up to come down with the blade again, this time taking his right hand. "Shite!!! I be wanting the left one, ye big oaf!!"

She dodged again, slicing at the ghoul's midsection, "YERRICK!!! THE GERMAN AND I BE NEEDING YE, MAN!!"

EPISODE 1 • ALL VAMPIRES MUST DIE! - Page 4 Jakobmodern
Yerick watched the women charge in laughing as he shook his head. “Wrong!” Running straight at the ghoul smiling manically as he jumped with both his booted feet going towards it. The ghoul would have reacted and grabbed his leg if the revolver in his hand didn’t fire one of the remaining two rounds in it smashing its right hand away and his knife sliced the left hands fingers off. Yerick connected solidly and broke its ribcage in it was tilting backwards as he hit the spine and the thing began to fall with a deft sweep he sliced that ugly left hand from it and with some serious practice he caught the hand on his knife tip and flick it back rather unceremonious back to the German to throw in the fire as he yanked his first foot from the caved in rib cage.

Yerick gave a rather happy smile. “Right!” He turned just in the right time to have his reflexes just dodge another ghouls sweeping claw and stabbed upwards into the forearm he twisted hearing cracks of bone as he tried to step back but his knife was still stuck. He would not leave the dagger as he yanked on it over and over again; the ghoul slowly raised its other hand Yerick seeming to be oblivious as he kept trying to set his knife free. “Daĭte mne Yeblya nozh!” The claw came down as the knife finally popped out the hand swiping inches from his face he gave a slight chuckle as he landed on his back and rolled easily but regretted it as the injuries from the train were beginning to ache and sport...

EPISODE 1 • ALL VAMPIRES MUST DIE! - Page 4 Strom_nachtbruck

Strom tried to tie up one of the larger ghouls in a boxing fashion but he quickly broke the old when the bloody thing attempted to take a bite out of his shoulder. The thing's jaws snapped together loudly as, the German moved smoothly away, backing right into the Scottish woman who was spouting off something about 'how good of a fighter she was'. Then Yerrick came flying in, like some crazed Cossack, giving rhyme to reason of why he called for his aid in the first place and left the woman to concentrate on defending herself. Best to leave the heroics to the wildest one he figured, and true enough, he got the job done, his blade severing the creatures left hand then tossing back toward Strom. He snatched it out of the air while avoiding yet another blow from his undead opponent, rolled along the ground and headed toward the smoldering fire pit. Jumping over some low shrubs, he landed near the flames but instead of simply tossing the hand into the fire he skewered it with his knife and held it over the red hot coals as if he were roasting a marshmallow. The hand writhed and flexed as if it were still attached to an arm and as the back of the hand began to cook, the remaining zombies all turned their dead eyes toward, Strom.

He was right! As the flesh began to bubble and burn away, a coin was revealed. Quickly, he leapt across the fiery pit avoiding the slash of several arms and rolling again came up and thrust the hand into the dirt to cool it, then digging his finger into the back of the hand ripped out the coin.

"We need the other two!" Shouted Strom as he held up the token for the others to see.

EPISODE 1 • ALL VAMPIRES MUST DIE! - Page 4 Warric11Jayden glanced a look at Strom when he yelled about the token and that was a mistake when the big ghoul reached for her. She saw him out of the corner of her eye and as she dodged the grab, the thing's claw like fingers ripped through her suede jacket and into her skin, drawing blood once again. She looked down at her favorite jacket as she kept moving out of his reach and her green eyes spit fire. "That be me favorite overcoat, ye bloody jack-ass!!!"

The large undead moved quickly as she kicked out at a smaller ghoul behind her and ducked the reach of another at her side, kicking him into another. She stomped onto the heads of both as they hit the ground, the skulls giving a sickening crunch as she spun to face the big one again which had moved quickly to advance on her. She had four smaller undead coming up behind her as she faced him and knew that she had to move quickly. When he reached for her again, she was ready and lashed out with the razor sharp blade, severing the left hand. She grabbed it on the run and headed for Strom, dodging undead hands reaching for her. She knew she'd have nightmares from this one and quickly pushed the thought from her mind, concentrating on the task at hand, chuckling at her thought.

She followed Strom's actions and thrust the wriggling hand into the fire, burning the back of it enough to dig out the coin. She was a mess, one shoulder bleeding from puncture wounds from undead fingers digging through her coat and shirt and into her skin. Thanks to the suede jacket, the holes weren't deep enough for stitching, but were definately painful. The slashes on her arm, though, were deep having been done by one of the three lead ghouls. She was glad that both wounds were done to her left arm instead of her right, but it still hurt like hell and blood was dripping from her fingers as it slid down her lower arm beneath the tattered jacket. She looked over at Strom and nodded to him, a look of new found respect in her eyes. She would have to remember to find out what his name was when this was over. She couldn't keep calling him 'German'.

EPISODE 1 • ALL VAMPIRES MUST DIE! - Page 4 Jakobmodern
Watched the women duke it out absently running his hand over the 5 little cuts bored into his stomach he watched her finally clamber across the undead to finally tear the coin from the ghouls hand he turned to the last one which had been stalking him slowly rather more cautious than his now....undead-dead brother....wow that was a bit of a contradiction as he moved his shoulders slightly blood was dripping from his sleeve onto the ground the ghoul seemed to be biding its time almost knowing that Yerick was slowly becoming weaker with each long second... “Uncanny that.” As he stepped forward deciding if it weren’t coming to him he would step right into that ugly....

Wrong move this time Yerick had little time to react lifting his right forearm its left hand powered at his face it got in the way but it wasn’t made of iron as the claws simply sunk through the flesh a loud crack of bone as he gave a roar of....annoyance as he suddenly had a power struggle with the thing bearing down on him his right forearm with claws protruding from its slowly inching towards his face.... the thing still had its right hand for sake as he saw it bearing down in a long sweeping attack he shoved his knife out in time into its elbow joint but he didn’t have enough strength as it simply bent its elbow joint slashing into the back of his coat he stared into those empty sockets a silent fury now as he felt ready to blackout....only death would await one who did that.

Yerick stood with the ghoul what seemed an age its hand raking down his back he didn’t care about the coat being torn apart after all he hadn’t owned it to begin with. Yerick moved his head back the ghoul still hungry enough to go for the bait its head moving forward wanting to bite his throat out but Yerick would have none of that he had arced his whole body back in one moment he slammed his forehead down onto the creatures hell some dusty old bones ain’t gonna beat this hard head. The two collided with a rather large crack and thunk as Yerick hadn’t judged it right breaking his nose in the process just giving more fire to stoke his anger of the thing. By reaction the ghoul stepped back at the blow Yerick yelt the hand on his back go deeper but what mattered was that his other was torn free giving a bass yell of a war cry as he lifted the revolved his arm bent at the forearm in a way it shouldn’t.

The ghoul gave a silent scream as it saw the revolver at its face ironically it did a human reaction may be involuntarily remembered as it lifted its hand in front of its face to defend itself but it put the left in front. “Puli kol, kak ogonʹ v moem rukovodstve.” Pulling the trigger the last bullet smashing into its hand tearing through it to hit the coin and the .44 not having enough power to smash through the coin but it would sure bring the coin to punch out this ghouls flesh as it forcefully ejected itself through the ghouls hand and bounced harmlessly off the thickness of the forehead of the ghoul...but without the coin what could it possibly do with the knife torn from his grasp as it was blown back and the gun torn from his weak grasp... it was a chore just standing with his little strength left.

EPISODE 1 • ALL VAMPIRES MUST DIE! - Page 4 Warric11Jayden watched as the ghouls began to fall one by one, Yerrick having removed the final coin from the third leader. The bleeding in her shoulder had finally stopped, but her arm was another story. She was getting ready to take off her jacket and have a better look at it while standing next to the fire when she noticed Yerrick swaying a little. He was in worse shape than her and it was showing in the way the crazy Russian was moving back and forth.

She looked over at Strom and back to Yerrick, finally at herself. "We be a mess, us three, but alive an' that counts for something. I be thinkin' though that Yerrick there is in bad shape. Any suggestions, German?" She began to walk towards Yerrick to help him the best she could and looked over her shoulder, "Be nice to call ye by ye'er true name."

EPISODE 1 • ALL VAMPIRES MUST DIE! - Page 4 Strom_nachtbruck

"The name's Strom." Replied the German as he walked over to the Scottish woman extending his hand, but it was only to take the coin from her, "And you are again?" he asked as he turned to Yerrick holding his hand out for the third coin, "They need to be immersed in holy water to properly dispel them." Strom explained.

As he held his hand out containing the other two coins, he looked down at the Russian's wounds and winced. "Those look nasty." he commented looking none to guilty about his own injuries amounting only to a few scratches. "I have some antiseptic in my truck and a medical kit so you can fix yourself up, but it looks like you might need some stitches. I have that too, but I'm no doctor."

EPISODE 1 • ALL VAMPIRES MUST DIE! - Page 4 Warric11Jayden looked at Yerrick then at Strom and shook her head. "Nice of ye ta think aboot ye oon gender, Strom and forgo the other. I suppose ye can be helping Yerrick oot of here, I be gettin' ta the auto. Holy water, ye say.......I be having that in me bag. Not much of it, mind ye but enough to put into a cup and drop these nasty things into. If'n ye doan want ta be doin' the stitchin', I can do it. Done it afore an' can do it agin."

She walked off, blood dripping from her own left hand from the deep cuts on her forearm and removing her shredded suede jacket. That had more upset than anything as it had been her father's cut down to fit her.

Strom muttered something under his breath in his native tongue then tossed then handed the coins to, Jayden. "Great, let the coins sit immersed in the holy water for over twelve hours to rid them of their ability to raise the dead. While you two are mending your wounds, I've a wolf to trap."

The German started to make his way out of the cemetery, stepping over the corpses then paused, looking around him. "First, though I believe I best get my shovel and take care of the evidence."

“That would be nice.” Commenting on the painkillers and antiseptic stuff the German could offer him as he looked down to his broken arm slowly grabbing hold of the wrist gritting his teeth with iron will he straightened it slightly biting his lip hard enough for his teeth to cut it he would need a splint for it.

He went and picked up the revolver and with some difficulty he pulled the silver bullets from his pocket holding them out to Strom before the man was going to walk away for his shovel. “Was useful.” Placing these in the man’s grasp he began to walk away to the car rifling through some pockets to remove a phone which he toned a number and began speaking in rather rapid Russian into wincing whenever his arm moved a little too much.

Yerick had been on the phone for a while before suddenly he looked at the phone slightly stunned he had been hung up but he expected no less from the no.1 hated hunter in Russia at this current moment by hunters and abominations alike. He sighed as he shivered slightly as finally not shock but adrenalin finally ran out on him.

EPISODE 1 • ALL VAMPIRES MUST DIE! - Page 4 Warric11Jayden's steps faltered at Strom's words about trapping a wolf, anger surging through her but she didn't stop. "Insensitive ass", she muttered to herself. But, she also knew that finding the werewolf was most important, she was simply feeling the stress of the recent battle and the pain of her own wounds. She then realized that all Strom had were a few scratches.

She reached the car and opened the trunk and lifted out a small chest. It was a rectangle, about two feet long and a foot, a foot and a half wide and a foot deep. A deep brown color, it had a pentacle in the center on the lid and on the front, protective Celtic runes carved into the wood around the pentacles, on each end, front, back, top and bottom. She pulled a small key from around her neck and opened it. The inside was lined with a blue felt like type material with a removable shelf. She took out the shelf which had various religious icons, her most precious being a Celtic cross. Beneath the shelf were more items. A wooden bowl with a locking lid, inscribe with various protective markings. A large flask, again protective symbols covering it, sat there filled with holy water. There was also candles inscribed with ancient symbols, crystals, and athame and so on.

She lifted the bowl out and turning the lid til she heard the click, unlocked and opened it. Next, she put the coins into the bowl and opened the flask, pouring just enough holy water over the coins to cover them with about two inches of the water. They sizzled, the water bubbling before calming. Replacing the lid, turning it till she heard the locking click, she then replaced it back into the bottom of the small chest and replaced the shelf before closing and locking it, returning it to the trunk.

Next, she took out a large first aid kit and a leather bag. "C'mon Yerrick!! We haven't got all night to fix ourselves up. We need to be huntin' a beast." She took off her jacket, looking at the tears in it. "Sorry, Da.....looks like I 'ave ruined ye'er overcoat."

EPISODE 1 • ALL VAMPIRES MUST DIE! - Page 4 Jakobmodern
Yerick watched as she slapped the coins in the water and her rather sullen mood at the coat. He frowned as she said Da but he sat down on the trunk edge as she opened that huge first aid kit. “bandages and splint.” Requesting what he wanted done as his arm was screaming at him to rest but like they had said there was still a beast on the prowl and stitches would take too long so tight wrapping would have to do. “I guess acrobatics are out of the window for my next stage.” As she wrapped the bandages around the arm tightly and slapped some wood to each side of it he took the remnants of his own coat off with some of her help so she could slap a pad across his back and seeing a lack of bandages he pulled duct tape from his pocket and began slapping it onto the others it was one of his favourite inventions of man duct tape standing slowly he held one of the silver bullets to the light Strom probably had no idea he had covertly swapped on of the silvers with a chrome one and it wasn’t like he would be missing it after his services in the graveyard.

“We got any leads on where this beast is if it ain’t here?” Slipping the bullet back into his coat he slipped back into the tatters of his coat it still held some valuable items in its pockets. He unsheathed his knife finding it still sharp as ever as he turned it in the light it was all he needed in his mind. The knife had gotten him through thick and thin of the worst things it had been his weapon of choice a mad glint reigniting in his eye. “On your lead Jayden I have run out of ideas except just strolling through the woods up on the scene as they are territorial beasts.”

EPISODE 1 • ALL VAMPIRES MUST DIE! - Page 4 Warric11Jayden didn't answer Yerrick right away. Instead, she ripped off her left sleeve from the shoulder, revealing three deep gashes in her forearm that were still seeping blood. She rummaged through the large first aid kit until she found some more 4x4 pieces of gauze and spandex wrapping. She gritted her teeth as she poured alcohol over the wounds from the bottle in the kit, then squirted antibiotic ointment over them. Next, she layered three pieces of gauze over the wounds and then wrapped the spandex wrapping around them. It wasn't easy to do one-handed, but she managed and taped off the end of the wrap. She then packed everything away, placed the box with the bowl of holy water and three coins into a lock box located in the rear of the trunk, chanted a few words of protection and shut the lid.

She'd grabbed the shotgun and pistol, extra silver rounds, made sure both weapons were loaded and looked at Yerrick. "Well, since the German didn't wait, I guess we simply hunt. Ye think ye can keep up, Russian? I not be waitin fer ye." She turned and jogged in the direction she knew Strom had gone.

EPISODE 1 • ALL VAMPIRES MUST DIE! - Page 4 Jakobmodern
Watched her do her arm with some efficiency for one armed he had been about to offer his one working arm but thought it best to let the independent women do it on her own he stared off slightly thinking over some history as he waited for a man in his state he was holding on well. She asked him if he thought he could keep up he spewed off his Russian Da which almost everyone knew was yes in Russian. As he set after her when she began jogging holding his knife in his good hand.

Yerick’s grin was slowly growing wider at the anticipation of meeting this werewolf this was one hell of a day in his books it had been such a long time since he had met beasts and abominations in quick order. Kill ‘em all had always been the way as he followed the women with some difficulty knowing full well he probably was carrying a lot more stuff than her in his coat and on his belt pouches of random bullets and knives none of it helped in his exhausted state. He looked left and right to mark their surrounding in his mind in case they didn’t find anything today and they could investigate in the broad area they were running in.

EPISODE 1 • ALL VAMPIRES MUST DIE! - Page 4 Moon-fog-trees_9454_600x450

The wind whistled through the now sparse branches of the dense brush, scattering Autumn leaves across the long winding driveway that connected Jo Jo road to an old two story home nestled deep in the woods, far away from prying eyes. Stepping out of his truck, a burly man of average height closed the door behind him, a door that bore a business logo that read, 'Traeger's Trucking'. Silhouetted in the pale moonlight that shone through the branches above, the man paused and stared up into the night sky for a few moments, then continued on and into the house, only to emerge a few minutes later carrying something heavy in his arms. As he crossed the field of dirt that was the front yard the man tripped and dropped his bundle; the heavy chain clanged loudly as it struck the ground, then cursing under his breath the man scooped it up and continued on his way.

There were many other buildings on the property. An old barn, a few sheds, a garage and workshop, but the man made his way to the structure which was furtherest away which was an old storage shed, dug into the ground. Clumsily he walked down the few stone steps and through the door and tossed the chains into a dark corner before he reached over and turned on an electric lantern. Anxiously he stroked his thick beard as he checked a box of provisions he had left on a bench, then turned and closed the door behind him, but even as he began to lock it behind him he could hear the call beckoning to him. Closing his eyes he forced the door closed and locked it, then proceeded to unravel the chain he had tossed in the corner and bind it to a heavy chair that had been fastened to the wall. As he worked away the howls persisted, and his blood began to burn. He was racing against time — against the change, but would he make it this night? His mind was on fire, all day he had wavered in out of consciousness, transforming from who he believed he was to something else — something dark and evil. It was as if this presence were consuming him and it felt good, but he knew it was wrong, he had to stop himself before it was too late! Before —

The man wrapped the heavy chains around him, bind them with a pad lock, the key to which he thrust into his pocket. He knew the beast would not be able to use it, but would it really need to? Outside of the storage shed the sound of in-human growls could be heard, followed by a blood curdling howl.

EPISODE 1 • ALL VAMPIRES MUST DIE! - Page 4 Strom_nachtbruck

By the time that Jayden and Yerrick had patched themselves up, Strom had finished disposing of the dead bodies. His initial decision to bury all the corpses would take too long so he piled them up in the burning pit and tossed some gasoline on the fire to accelerate it. All that would be left would be charred remains, so even if there was any 'undead' remaining in any of them they wouldn't be going anywhere.

Walking back to his truck, Strom tossed his jerry can and shovel into the back then sat down for a moment. Wiping the sweat and black smudges from his face with the back of his sleeve, the German lit up a smoke and glanced over at the other two hunters.

"You two got any idea where you are going?" He asked them as he exhaled a long trail of smoke then simultaneous with his question came the haunting howl of wolf upon the night wind.

It was difficult to tell specifically from where the sound had originated but Strom just smiled and looked southwest from the cemetery, toward Jo Jo Road. On the other side of several acres of forest was a road that ran west to east and off it was the home of a one Rick Traeger, the trucker who had tried to ram into Strom's truck earlier that day. It was he that the German suspected was a lycanthrope, but feared that there were others.
