| Cool. I think Lac would be up for hosting a grand masquerade. I imagine it being quite grand indeed actually, very similar to the ball that Count Dracula in the movie Van Helsing put on, with acrobats, opera singers and an entire band.
Samhain (which lasts four days) should be full of gathering both formal and informal. It is one the most powerful sabbats. The Count's ball would definitely be THE party to be. It's the 27th right now, so it could occur in a day or two and represent the start of Samhain itself in the Chicago area.

| ROTFL
A benefit would be great. Perhaps one that makes it sound very legit but in truth is done to thwart the efforts of one side or the other. OR...to play both sides against the other.

| I like that. And since the Count is worldly and eccentric, it would certainly fit his persona | |

| Oh, I had previously mentioned it was Saturday in Waryn's previous posts. I guess it's not really a big deal, I could go back and just make some quick changes if Woedinsday works better. | |

| I don't think it matter right now, does it? I mean, he's not interacting with any of the other characters yet so we can make it different days and times and then bring them together when the time comes. Unless I totally missed if he was interacting with them.... | |

| Its not really a case of interaction. I established a time line: Saturday, Oct. 27.
Guess it really doesn't matter and in fact it could be Wednesday the 24th for you I guess. I'll go and remodify what I changed.

| Actually just checked the date on the invite. Saturday the 29th. I'll have to modify Waryn's posts to coordinate with that date. I'll go back and change it again. I should have been more observant of the date. I set Saturday in one of my firsts posts because Waryn was enjoying a day off.
You see I also established a time line link between the Count and Waryn when they were both reading the same paper and observing the same article on the same day.
I'll have to modify Waryn's time to coordinate with 29th being Saturday.

| No worries all has been changed and really it's a detail that only matters to Waryn.
Waryn now exists in Thursday, October 27th. It would not have been big deal if two of my posts hadn't incorporated the date within them. You know me, I always like to know when the suns coming up and going down.
Technically the Count and Waryn were in the same time frame, but the detail of them reading the same newspaper does not have to be acknowledged. I know that my awareness of time greatly exceeds anyone else at the Bridge.
It's wierd, in real life I NEVER know what the date is, and if asked what I did on specific days of the week or even what the day presently is I struggle to recall any details.

| Ditto...I HAVE to have a calendar before me in order to answer that question.
I fear if I were ever in an accident or passed out and the medics asked me what the date wsa I'd not be able to tell them and they would think I had really suffered a brain injury. LOL
Of course they ask more than the date and they'd know that wasn't the case, but still....makes ya think .....

| Yeah, I have a real warped sense of time as well. I really can't figure it, been that way since I was a kid. I can memorize an entire schedule for the month but i still have absolutely no sense of time. Yet I am never late. I can time a drive to destination to the nearest minute and manage my time very well. Once its in the past though, my memories have absolutely NO sense of time. | |

| I made the date of the ball for a Saturady as it made more sense to have the gala on a Saturday night, than in the middle of the week .... that 's my defense and I am stickin' to it. Besides the Count does not do well in the day tme... his skin and eyes a sensitive to the sun and he sunburns easily...... he is all out of Coppertone sun block 500
I know a little cannary that had beter watch out for black cats
